Hubbub Merges
As you may have heard, we are taking the bold step of merging Hubbub into a brand-new global communications agency called The Conversation Group (TCG). The mission of the new agency is to advance the art and science of participatory media -- blogs, social networks, and other environments where people openly converse -- so that our clients can measurably scale their ability to find, engage and interact with their customers, wherever they may be (online, offline, and mobile). I will continue to concentrate on integrated media campaigns (employing traditional media *and* social media) -- with a strong focus on company and product launches -- but TCG will provide additional resources for doing this work. There are three things that make the new company stand out:
--We are setting ourselves up to be global, from the very start. One of our board directors is Mark Adams, a co -founder of Text100.
--We have close relationships with Technorati and other leading technology companies. Another board director is Peter Hirshberg, CMO and Chairman of the Executive Committee at Technorati.
--We are building a team with cross-disciplinary experience across the entire business communications mix. Businesses we are speaking with are *not* looking for a one-stop shop. But they *are* looking for help in managing integrated campaigns. That will be our sweet spot, I am thinking, and it will allow us to partner with many talented people, both corporate-side and agency-side. Already our work is moving in that direction.

Good luck, interesting timing of your announcement as there is a lot happening at the moment. Exciting times to be doing what we do.
