    I have come to believe that true anonymity on the Web is virtually impossible and perhaps even a myth if you are active on the Web. I like the ClaimID approach of asserting "ownership" over those aspects of your identity that find their way on to the Web as a way of dealing with identity theft and clarifying who you are in the scheme of things.
