Michael Arrington thinks Digg should sue Wired. The magazine, which owns a Digg competitor, has run a number of articles that criticize Digg. Latest offense, says Arrington, is a recent piece by Annalee Newitz, which chronicles a funny-yet-shady operation she ran to "game" the Digg system.
Dunno. Annalee is a smart, independent writer -- I've crossed swords with her in the past --- and I doubt she would do anything to support the libel that Arrington suggests is happening. But this is a matter of church and state, and Wired would be smart to watch what it publishes about its competitors.
i agree with you. her piece was kitten clever. sometimes suggestions are based on laurels, which some shouldn't rely on.
